The government is now operating in accordance with the Guidance on Caretaker Conventions, pending the outcome of the 2025 federal election. What does this mean?

Logos and guidelines

Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme approved employer and official partner logos and guidelines.

Please note: The content of any materials bearing either the PALM scheme approved employer logo or partner logo is not endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR).

Any incidences of the incorrect use of either logo should be reported via email (palm@dewr.gov.au).

Official branding for PALM scheme approved employers

Businesses must go through a series of thorough assessment and compliance checks before being approved to join the PALM scheme.

If a business is an approved employer, they are officially considered to be a suitable participant in the PALM scheme, subject to their ongoing commitment to meet the high standards expected of approved employers in the program.

Only approved employers are entitled to use the PALM scheme approved employer logo on their communication materials.

Approved employer logo guidelines

The approved employer logo guidelines are currently under review.

Official branding for PALM scheme partners

The PALM scheme logo can be used by contracted or officially engaged PALM scheme partners to demonstrate their participation in the scheme.
